These Terms & Services govern the relationship between you (“Client”) and Havenline (“we”, “us”) when you request, book or receive home improvement services through istanbulwebseo.com. By submitting an enquiry, booking an appointment, joining a care plan or instructing work, you confirm that you have read and accepted this document. If you do not agree, please do not use the website forms or instruct us to attend.
1. Who We Are And What We Do
Havenline provides planning, renovation, repair and maintenance services for kitchens, bathrooms, interiors, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring and related household fabric. We operate as a coordinating contractor: some tasks are performed by our employed tradespeople and others by carefully selected specialists working under our programme. We do not sell building plots, mortgages or legal title advice. Website images illustrate typical workmanship; every home is surveyed before a price is confirmed.
Nothing on the website constitutes a binding offer. Descriptions of packages, monthly care plans and project galleries are invitations to treat. A contract is formed only when we issue a written proposal and you accept it in writing, including by a confirmed email that restates the scope.
2. Eligibility And Authority
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you have authority to instruct work at the property — as owner, authorised tenant or appointed agent. If you instruct us on behalf of someone else, you personally warrant that you have permission to grant access, approve designs and authorise payment. Where a property is leasehold, listed, in a conservation setting or subject to landlord or building-management rules, you remain responsible for obtaining consents before demolition or visible alteration begins.
3. Enquiries, Appointments And Surveys
Forms on this website are client-side request tools. Submitting a form does not guarantee a visit date. We may request photographs, floor sketches or a video walk-through before attending. Survey appointments are reserved for discussing rooms, access, parking for materials, protection of adjoining finishes and any known defects such as historic leaks or ageing wiring.
If we arrive at the agreed window and cannot gain safe access, the visit may be treated as completed for scheduling purposes and a fresh appointment will be required. You should tell us in advance about pets, alarm systems, occupied nurseries or any occupant who must not be disturbed.
4. Quotations, Care Plans And Payment Principles
Quotations for remodeling and renovation are based on the information available at survey. They typically itemise labour, specified fixtures, finishes, waste handling, protection and a modest contingency. Monthly Essential, Preferred and Complete plans cover the inspection and small-works allowances described on the Pricing page; they do not include full kitchen or bathroom replacements unless those are quoted separately.
Prices may change if: the Client selects different appliances or tiles; hidden decay, asbestos-containing materials, undocumented electrics or failed waterproofing is discovered; working hours are restricted after the quote; or the Client asks for additional rooms. We will not proceed with extra work until a written variation is agreed, except where immediate making-safe is required to prevent water damage, fire risk or structural danger. In that limited case we will make the area safe and then report.
Because this website does not process payments, any later invoice, deposit or care-plan collection will be arranged through a method we confirm in correspondence. Deposits, where used, secure materials with long lead times and are not a penalty; unused deposit balances after a cancelled project are handled under the cancellation section below.
5. Scope Of Services
Unless a proposal says otherwise, our services may include measured survey, design advice, strip-out, first-fix plumbing and electrical, carpentry, plastering coordination, second-fix, decoration, flooring, snagging and a documented handover. We do not automatically include: party-wall awards, structural engineer calculations, gas appliance installation unless named, landscape architecture, furniture supply, or moving household goods. Clients should empty the work area of valuables, fragile décor and data equipment.
Quality standards follow good trade practice for home improvements: substrates prepared, membranes installed to manufacturer guidance, joints sealed, services tested, and decorations applied in the number of coats specified. Slight variation in natural timber, handmade tile or stone is inherent and not a defect.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Provide honest information about leaks, previous works, insurance claims and any known hazards.
- Keep children and pets away from active work zones and stored materials.
- Maintain a clear path for tools, waste and new fixtures.
- Decide finishes within the times stated so lead times can be met.
- Not instruct our tradespeople to perform extra tasks without the coordinator’s written okay.
- Retain copies of appliance manuals and colour references we leave at handover.
If the Client’s delay in choosing tiles, taps or paint colours causes idle time, the programme may move and storage costs for already ordered goods may be charged as a variation.
7. Site Conduct, Health And Protection
We will lay protection to floors and traffic routes we reasonably expect to use. We cannot protect every ornament in an occupied house unless it is moved. Dust extraction and daily tidy-downs are part of our method, but remodeling still produces noise, brief water or power isolation and visible disruption. We will tell you, as far as practical, when isolation is planned.
Our people will not work at height, in confined voids or on electrical systems they consider unsafe. If a condition is discovered that requires a specialist (for example, suspected hazardous insulation), we will stop that portion of the job and advise next steps. You agree not to remove our barriers, warning tape or isolation tags.
8. Programmes, Weather And Third Parties
Dates given before a contract are estimates. Once a contract exists we will issue a simple sequence. That sequence can shift because of weather for exterior work, delayed manufacturer deliveries, other occupants, building-management access rules, or additional surveys. We will communicate changes. We are not liable for hotel, alternative accommodation or lost earnings unless a separate written agreement says so.
9. Materials, Substitutions And Title
Specified products will be ordered as named. If a finish is discontinued, we will propose an equivalent in writing. Title in goods passes when they are paid for in full; risk in goods stored at the property passes on delivery to site. Clients should insure the property and contents in the usual way during works.
10. Variations, Snagging And Completion
A variation is any change to drawings, specification, programme or price. Verbal ideas discussed on site become part of the contract only when confirmed. Practical completion occurs when the rooms can be used for their intended purpose and remaining items are minor snags. A snag list will be agreed and closed within a reasonable period. Withholding the entire balance for a small decorative snag is not permitted; a fair retention for that item may be discussed.
11. Warranties And Aftercare
Workmanship on new installations is warranted against defective work for twelve months from practical completion unless the proposal states a longer period. Manufacturer warranties on appliances, boilers, membranes and paint systems remain with those manufacturers. Careless cleaning, impact damage, movement of the building, leaks from neighbouring properties, or alterations by others void the affected portion of our workmanship warranty.
Monthly care plans, if purchased, include the inspections listed on the Pricing page. They do not extend manufacturer warranties and do not cover damage caused by storms, flooding, or unreported leaks between visits. Report defects promptly so we can inspect while evidence is visible.
12. Cancellation, Cooling Off And Unused Materials
You may cancel an enquiry at any time before a contract is formed. After a contract is formed, cancellation must be in writing. We may charge for survey time already used, drawings prepared, and materials that cannot be returned unused. Custom joinery, cut tiles and mixed paint generally cannot be restocked. If we cancel because we cannot obtain safe access or essential consents, we will refund sums paid for work not performed, less reasonably incurred costs.
13. Website Use, Forms And Intellectual Property
The Havenline name, logo, layout, photographs and written content on this site are protected. You may not copy pages for a competing home-improvement business. You may share links to our public pages. Form submissions must not contain malicious code, false identities or spam. We may ignore or delete abusive messages.
Drawings, mood boards and specifications we produce for a quoted project remain our intellectual property until paid for; after payment you may use them to complete that project, including with another installer if the contract has ended, but you may not resell the designs.
14. Limitation Of Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care in the services we agreed to provide. We are not responsible for: loss of profit, loss of chance, indirect or consequential loss; damage to items that were not reasonably protected because they were left in the work area; or faults in goods supplied by the Client. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Our total liability for a project is limited to the fees paid for that project except where the law does not allow a limit.
15. Privacy, Marketing And Complaints
Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy. Marketing emails are sent only if you subscribe; you may leave the list on the Unsubscribe page. Complaints should be emailed to hello@istanbulwebseo.com with photographs and a description of the rooms involved. We aim to acknowledge within five working days and to propose an inspection where needed.
16. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms & Services to reflect new services, tools or legal requirements. The version on this page at the time you accept a proposal applies to that proposal, unless a later change is required by law. Continued use of the website after a posted update means you accept the new website terms for future enquiries.
17. Governing Notes
These terms are written for household clients instructing home improvements. If a clause is found unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue. No failure to enforce a right is a waiver of that right. You may not assign the contract without our consent; we may assign it to a successor that takes on the same service standards.
Questions about these Terms & Services may be sent to hello@istanbulwebseo.com. Booking an appointment or ticking the acceptance box on a quote request confirms that you have read this page in full.
